Pettiness and not seeing the wood for the trees yet again par for the course.  Its our set of lates in Randomtown this weekend.  I wonder if anyone, aside from my colleagues, that I deal with will be sober?

As PC COPPERFIELD, and INSPECTOR GADGET are, I’m a Police Officer, working in a pretty anonymous town, somewhere in England and Wales.  Its a backwater place, situated not far from a few other backwater places, yet home to a marvellous variety of pond life and bottom feeders.

I don’t for a second want to steal any of the momentum already gathered by the two aforementioned gentlemen.  Hopefully that remains outside of PSD influence.

I’m sure those of you who read this blog, and I hope there are some, will have read this story.  Surely this sets a new low.  For those who are on the wrong side of Her Majs’ finest, yet another encouragement to be a tosser and gain from it in some way.

I read this article whilst on a short notice night turn somewhere not very important.  It made my stomach turn.

I hope that this first post has some positive feedback.  I’m hoping to use this blog as a means to convey in an honest and transparent manner, working in the Police service from a slightly different perspective.  That of a below 30, unmarried, white, unmarried and un child-ed person……….watch this space
